It has to be a toy gun but this is still a fucked up photo!

I’m not sure about the gun in this particular photo, but the 5-year-old boy who shot his 2-year-old sister did have a real gun that is manufactured and marketed toward children of that age. And at least one particular model does come in pink.

They sold 60,000 of those rifles last year. The “My First Rifle” model specifically for children. Gun manufacturers fund the NRA, who in return fuel the fervor that guns = freedom and everyone would be safer with a gun and the government doesn’t want you to have guns because TYRANNY, not because guns are unbelievably dangerous. Truly unconscionable.
